New Features:
- Workshop Software users are now able to lookup MOT history on vehicles in the UK. MOT refers to a Ministry of Transport test which is a mandatory safety inspection for older vehicles in the UK. The test checks if a vehicle meets certain road safety and environmental standards.
Updates:
- Resolved an issue where Unavailable All day was not updating the Schedule.
- Added the date to Inspection approval form.
- Unit Advertisement page for Dealership now shows the correct currency symbol.
- Tracking Category field name spelling has now been corrected.
- Introduced an automatic date range for business reports, this improves software efficiency.

- Resolved an issue where products assigned to Product Groups or Categories where the name of the Group or Category contained a special character would be blocked from being added to new invoices.

Updates:
- Resolved an issue where the tax calculation for a new product could be incorrect on a supplier invoice if the product was assigned to a Product Category.
- Resolved an issue where the product cost tax calculation for new products would not show the correct figure until the product was saved. The price will now dynamically updated based on what you enter into either field.
- Added mechanic colour to the mobile app for easier identification.
- Removed Motor integration for US accounts - this is no longer supported.
- Fixed an issue with the sample mechanics that are added when a new account is created. The schedule for the 'Edit Me' mechanics will no longer include a date and will use time only.

- We have decided to revert to the previous version of the user interface. While the new interface was performing well for most, some users were still reporting performance issues. Our clients are the most important, and we want to ensure an amazing experience for all of you.
Mobile update 7.1.0 has been released for both iOS and Android. Here are the changes included:

- Implemented zoom function on image attachments.
- Added the ability to email inspections for approval.
- Note templates can now be added from the mobile app.
- New read-only screen for non editable notes.
- Edit customer and vehicle information from an inspection or booking.

- Resolved an issue where the keyboard could cover the save button in the notes editor for some devices.

Updates:
- Improved search results for vehicles when using the global search. Vehicles shown in the drop down list will now include more information such as the attached customer, the VIN and the colour.
- Improved the copy invoice function so that now when an invoice is copied the tax figure shown on each line item will display before you save the new invoice.
- Resolved an issue where creating a new record (ie. job card or booking) from the action bolt at the top of the screen while you have another record open would result in the new invoice showing the incorrect customer name until it was saved. This has been fixed so that now the correct customer and vehicle will show regardless of how the record was created.

- Resolved an issue where a record (booking, job card, purchase order, etc.) would be inaccessible if a product on that record was made inactive.

- Resolved an issue where the invoice total could display incorrectly within Workshop Software when freight is added.
- Improved the "VIN (already exists)" error catchment to remove the possibility of inaccurate results.

Updates:
- Resolved an issue where the tax amount for a line item on a supplier invoice was not updating until the invoice was saved. This has been changed to dynamically update based on the Unit Price.
- Fixed an issue where a product that has a Product Group assigned would not calculate the Cost (Incl. Tax) correctly. Cost (Excl. Tax) and Cost (Incl. Tax) have been unlinked and will now calculate properly.

New Features:
- The new Product Category Tax functionality allows you to assign tax rates to different product categories, streamlining tax management and ensuring compliance with tax regulations in places where there can be variances on the taxable amount for goods and services. By assigning tax rates at the product category level, you can efficiently manage taxes for groups of products. More information on how to setup and use this feature can be found here.
- Registration lookups will now show in the Recent Activity section of the Dashboard for New Zealand and the UK.

- Resolved an issue where approving a Public Booking through the Online Booking Diary would trigger a false red bar error message. This error catchment has been improved to reduce confusion.

- Resolved an issue with payments made via WPAY when rounding is enabled. There were specific scenarios where the payment would not close because the total did not match the invoice.
- Fixed an issue where some WPAY terminal IDs were not being saved against the user preference - ie. making a particular terminal the default for an user.
- Improved the error catchment for WPAY terminals.

- Resolved an issue where only ADMIN users could process a CASH type invoice. This functionality has been restored for all user groups that have access to invoicing.
